Zoning and Buildings

For zoning administration and to obtain permits in High Forest Township, outside the City of Stewartville, contact the Township Cooperative Planning Association (TCPA) at 507-529-0774. For residents in the City of Stewartville, contact the Stewartville City Clerk

Driveways

New or modifications to driveways require a permit.  All culvert replacements shall be completed by the Township unless approval has been acquired from the Board. Click here for the application.

Right of Way

All work within a road right of way requires a permit.  Cost is $100 for up to a mile plus $100 for each mile after. Click here for the application.

Septic System

If you need to repair, modify, or install a new septic system, permits are issued by:

Burning

Contact Charlie O’Brian at 507-533-4346 for a one-time permit.  Annual permits good for the calendar year are issued by the Minnesota DNR for $5.
